0830 - 1100 sunny, 20c : Osprey drifted over to the north-west being mobbed by gulls, Red Kite over to the west, Kestrel m, Oystercatcher 3, GC Grebe 2, Little Grebe on Swan Pool, Lapwing, Common Tern 2, Mute Swan pair on 7 eggs, Pied Wagtail 2, Swallow 4, House Martin 2, Sand Martin, Rook, Reed Warbler at the marsh, Garden Warbler, Blackcap 2, Whitethroat 4, Willow Warbler 3, Chiffchaff 2, Linnet pair, Reed Bunting 2, etc (RP / GWR).

Also seen : Orange Tip 5, Large White, Green-veined Whites, Speckled Wood 5, Holly Blue 2, Peacock 3, Small Tortoiseshell, Longhorn moths 20+, Red Fox.  Brimstone 2m & f at Rushall.

At dusk at least 10 Noctule & Pipistrelle bats were present.
